DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

The department of Public Administration, newly established in 2024, is dedicated to promote teaching and research in the emerging fields of public administration especially public policy and governance, comparative public administration, personnel administration, civil services reforms, development administration and development debate, financial administration, urban and rural governance, global governance issues, e-governance, exclusion and inclusive policy and human rights. The department’s mission is to provide high-quality education, engage in
impactful research, and serve the community. Its vision is to be nationally recognised for cultivating outstanding public service leaders committed to excellence and integrity in public administration. Since its inception, the department has been concentrating on its standards, particularly in curricular and co-curriculum activities. The department is committed to give new directions to the teaching methods and research areas in the discipline. Presently, the department offers M.A. in Public Administration. From time to time, the department is highly active in organizing seminars, workshops and symposia, which have been probed by academicians and experts across the country.
