Department Achievements: 2017-18
We are proud to present our department activities for the Academic Year 2017-18. The academic department performance is being measured not just by the activities we as Professors but our actual performance is well appreciated in a holistic manner from all around, like students, faculty, research, results in exams, attendance, visiting industries in a view to provide a practical learning environment for the students, and also the overall performance of the department as a whole.
- Faculty Strength and Achievements: The department has two members with a Ph.D. and four were doing their Ph.D. as basic strength that proves the research capacity of the department. We have written six articles in the odd semester and in the even semester by the individual faculty members to show an added value. The faculty have been seriously watched and examined through a series of audits for each faculty member individually and on average, they stood with 85% and 92% in the odd and even semester respectively which is appreciable.
- Student strength and Achievements: Our students have secured 88.00% and 94.5% in the semester by both I and II years respectively, noticing the results performance we can understand that the student attendance has been 87% and 77% by both I and II years respectively. Student intake is 44 out of 60.
Event Organized (Major Events, GL, Seminar, Workshop…): We have organized one day workshop on Six Sigma-Industries practices, Digital Marketing, Executive Interaction program on project management, Audio Advertising, National level management meet, Building yourself for a corporate career, Measuring training effectiveness, RAISE-Marketing A global perspective- International Speaker. FDP on Brand Called youth. Executive interaction program on Govt Policies and its implications on the Indian Economy.
Placement (Companies & No. of Students placed). Our department has achieved 75% placements with 20 opportunities and 3 multiple offers and the companies are Equitas, Harness ERP, Nimble wireless, Parry-Agro, to name a few.
Add-on Courses We have organized Add-on courses in easy steps, Digital Marketing in the complete academic year.
CSR Activities Conducted: Nil
Faculty Participation & Publications: Our faculty has participated in development programs on Business Analytics, Operation Management, Board Room discussion, and have published … papers in National and International Journals.
PTA, Alumni interaction: Alumni of 10 have interacted with our students on a Banking career, Travel Management, Business Plans, 5S, PTA day was not organized but have interacted with parents on Appreciation on students performance in both the semester specifically on meritorious days, and also for discipline.
BOS, Syllabus Revision: WE have organized 2 BOS and have modified the syllabus, Industrial Visits. Our students have visited about 15 companies on industrial visits for their subjects and learned and contributed as well.
We have done many consultancy projects and some have taken to the final stage of the company and a few have initiated and discontinued. We are proud to say that our students have made a considerable income through this activity like, survey on Brand Awareness,
