Overview of the Programme:
MA Public Administration is a two-year postgraduate course that focuses on the mechanisms of various government agencies and several socio-political issues. MA Public Administration admission is only possible for graduates who meet the MA Public Administration eligibility criteria of 50% aggregate marks in under-graduation degree in any stream from a recognized college.
MA Public Administration subjects are Public Personnel Administration and Human Resource Management, Comparative Public Administration, Financial Administration, Public Administration, and Computer Applications.

M.A. in Public Administration is a two-year post-graduate Programme offered by Rathinam College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. Master of Public Administration is a professional degree for those who seek leadership positions in public service. The students will learn the skills and techniques to design and implement policies, projects and programs to provide vital daily services and address important societal problems while attending to the day-to-day administrative issues in organizations. Students will be prepared for leadership and management positions in the public and non-profit sectors, at local, state and national levels with an emphasis on the development of effective and ethical management of organizations. The employment areas for Master of Arts [MA]Public Administration are plenty like Corporate Management, Economic Development, Indian Civil Services, Fire and Emergency Services, Public Works, Land Revenue Systems, Municipal Bodies, Panchayati Raj, Education, Police Department, Secretariat, Tribal Administration etc. Students who aspired to engage such services in State level can appear for all competitive exams like TNPSC and all India civil services like IAS, IPS IFS, etc.
