Overview of the Programme

B.Com in Information Technology is an undergraduate Commerce with Information Technology course.  It involves the study of computing technology, IT, Computer science, and its application in the commercial domain. In the B.Com IT course, students also learn about software development, Business Management, software testing, Economics, Financial Accounting and etc. Students who wish to follow an IT career must opt for the same. Program Educational Objectives (PEO):

PEO5 Shall adequately contribute to the growth of the nation and society by applying the knowledge gained in commerce and technical fields.

Program Specific Outcome (PSO):

PSO1:  To train the learners to solve problems using computer programming and getting familiar with the fundamental’s concepts of Information Technology.
PSO2: To enable students to acquire skills in Web page programming.
PSO3: To enlighten Learners to do higher education and advance research in the field of Information technology

PO1: Afford wide knowledge both in Commerce and Information technology.
PO2: Apply the knowledge of commerce, information technology, social science, and accounting fundamentals to provide solutions to industry problems.
