The Department has faculty members specialized in Data mining, Computer Networks, Soft Computing, Evolutionary Computing, Network Security, Cyber Security, Digital Signal Processing, Big Data Analytics, Image Processing, Cloud Computing, and Mobile Computing.

Activities

On 31.Jan.2020 Friday, Department of Information Technology Faculty contributors and Students Rathinam College of Arts and Science, Echanari, Coimbatore has attended Google’s Study Jams on Career Readiness hands-on training by in Rathinam Campus. This hands-on education especially organized via GOOGLE for Google Associate Cloud Engineer Track cum Coursera publications certified student community. The foremost motto of the event is to educate Google’s Cloud platform trading operations like Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, Storage & Databases, Networking, API Platforms, and Cloud AI to participants. Google Cloud Computing services had been erudite with the aid of staff contributors and college students Google Cloud Environment via Qwiklabs and hands-on training. They received certifications in Architecting with Google compute Engine, Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals, Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation, Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Core services, Essential Cloud Infrastructure Scaling and Automation platforms.

Festober News

Rathinam College of Arts and Science, Echanari, Coimbatore, the Department of Information Technology, and Samarpan the Club of Cultural join up to host prestigious “Festober-The Technical and Cultural Fest” for intercollegiate Students. Famous Film Actor George Vijay declared the fest open with the lighting of the lamp then was the opening speech by Miss India 2019 Finalist VJ. Kalyani, Mr. Male Model of Coimbatore 2019 Shan MJ, Mr. Glam icon farziee  Mr. South Indian Photogenic Nikil, Mr. Coimbatore 2019 Pradeep Raja and the performances opened with a group dance from Raj TV & Sun TV Dancers Mr.Parthiban and Mr.Mani. In media’s acted as media partners to this fest. There were 47 various college Students from Kerala, Chennai, Salem, Trichy, Erode, Tiruppur, and the Gobi have partaken and publicized their talent in a variety of technical and cultural events.
