International Conference on “Intellectual Computing and Digital Twins for Smart Cities – 2024 (ICDTSC-2024)

Date: May 6 & 7, 2024

About the Conference

Intellectual Computing and Digital Twins for Smart Cities (ICDTSC – 2024) is scheduled on May 6th & 7th 2023 at Rathinam College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore. The vision of ICDTSC – 2024 is to provide platform for sharing knowledge with a wide audience from India and Abroad. The conference will also provide platform for networking opportunities with like-minded people and Academicians from across the Globe. The conference will provide a specialized forum for bringing together cutting-edge research, cutting-edge technology, and industrial experiences at a single platform.

Scope of Conference

A digital twin is a made-up universe that enables us to simulate real-world problems. Human behaviour modelling is one of the most important components of digital twins since it is required for numerous applications, such as autonomous driving, health coaching, sports simulation, and natural catastrophe mitigation strategies. However, due to how complex human conduct is, there are still great deals of issues that haven't been resolved. To solve the problems, researchers from several fields—including computer vision, behaviour science, human-computer interaction, and AR/VR—must work together. This topic has implications for both the computational behaviour and computer vision communities. We anticipate that this session will contribute to advancing the discussion on this emerging research field from both a technological and applied perspective. The workshop results can be used to build behavioral digital twins of pedestrians in smart cities with sensor networks. When dealing with natural calamities like the COVID-19 epidemic, modelling behaviour patterns might be helpful. Additionally, it may improve government accountability to the public; find cost-effective methods to offer public services, and measure outcomes. This workshop will serve as a catalyst to bring together many stakeholders in an effort to tackle the social difficulties of constructing behaviour sensing systems that take into account the diversity of individuals and their situations. This will allow new scientific languages/thoughts to be established.

Application of Conference

In this workshop, the topics of interest include but are not limited to:
1. Monitoring and estimating human poses.
2. Recognition of human activity.
3. Forecasting of human stance, movement, and trajectory.
4. Human action/trajectory visualizations.
5. Analysis and forecasting of human-human interaction.
6. Detection and forecasting of human-object interactions.
7. Fusion of many sensors to better comprehend human behaviour.
8. Applications for understanding and predicting human behaviour.
