RCAS is a co-educational institution (started ~15 years ago) that caters to higher-education requirements of our society. We have ~20 UG and PG courses, besides research programs in selected streams. The leadership of the institution espouses a “meaningful and industry-ready” philosophy and practice. I consider it an opportunity of a lifetime that I get to impart my efforts in this teaching-learning ambiance.
We are at a juncture where minimalistic approaches and overtly generous or indiscriminate assessments have corroded the indices and yardsticks in academic and social realms. At RCAS, we understand this predicament. To set a corrective course, we employ effective instruction modalities and meaningful evaluations. With holistic, meticulous and multifaceted approaches, we seek to address student community’s requirements.
We believe that students must have freedom and fun. But yet, this cannot be at the expense of constructive discipline. Therefore, we adopt a “zero tolerance” policy to ragging, violence and amorous activities in the campus. We are a “happening” community where students’ interactive and communicative abilities, quantitative and analytical skills, moral and rational outlooks, and general awareness are constantly improved by sustained endeavors. Several club activities (nature, science, debate, music, cultural, etc.) and sports events ensure that the students’ creative and competitive fervors are engaged and horned. We strive to foster the student’s individuality, inspiring them to become more quality conscious and purposeful young adults. We earnestly want to see our students placed well in life, after their courses are completed at RCAS.
In the present and in the times to come, let’s celebrate life, in all of its dimensions.
